Doug K. Le Du is
a preferred stock researcher and author of
Preferred Stock Investing.
Doug's formal
education is in economics and statistics.
He has spent years developing computer
models and simulations of various investment
strategies. He was able to determine that
the market price of certain preferred stocks
- ones that meet specific selection criteria
- behaved in a very predictable manner. Even
during a Global Credit Crisis.
In 2003, Doug wrote a research paper that
documented the predictable market price
behavior of preferred stocks that met these
specific selection criteria, and was
encouraged to publish a book explaining his
research. The result is
Preferred Stock
Investing, now in its third
edition.
